DFAT will not accept documents that have been laminated. Trying to take the laminate off a document almost always ends up tearing ink off the document. It is much better to order a new document.

DFAT will not accept documents that have large tears in the document. In particular if a document has a tear that goes through words of the document you must have the document notarised before it can be apostilled.
